I know what you mean and right now I'm able to distinguish the stress which is totally normal before any new situation (and I also feel it from time to time now) and the stress which is caused by PTSD. I try to meditate and do breathing exercises (unfortunately I still can't do it regularly)...

I were surprised because there wasn't one situation or accident which could cause PTSD. My therapist said that there had been much too much stress in my life. And because there was no exact cause, it is harder for me to understand and maybe accept it.
