I did an short operation in Afghanistan with some American soldiers. Before we left they gathered in a circle with an army chaplain who among other things quoted Psalm 144:1 "Praise my Lord. He trains my hands for war, my fingers for battle".
When we arrived at our target the Taliban and AQ...
OK. Take out what he says. That leaves 'He supported us financially'.
Like I said above, we are what we do, not what we say. Players learn what to say to women and how to say it. If you want to know the core or a man look at what he does, not what he says.
Back in the Soviet-Afghan war mujahideen leaders referred to Russia as the 'little Satan' and the US as the 'big Satan'. Asian leaders warned the west that they would be next. Nobody listened. These guys are in it for the long game.
I agree with everything you said up until this point. The suicide bombings are not a response to collateral damage. They were going on in various countries around the world long before the US was involved in Afghanistan and Iraq. They were carried against local governments considered to be...
What way is that?
Let me tell you a secret about most men; we are what we do not what we say. His actions, the yelling and verbal abuse, are the message.
@desiderata310
EEGs are non-invasive and have no know side effects. The flashing lights are there to stimulate a seizure or seizure precursor state in the brain.
When I was a young medic we had patients who had side effects from everything, even things that could not possibly induce side...
@JadesJewel I've been taking PMS-Mirtazapine before bed. I usually add in Magnesium Bisglycinate capsules. They seem to help a lot. The only side effect from the med seems to be the common increased appetite/weight gain problem that many of these types of drugs have.
You can do it you know. I didn't think I could either. I only did it when I was at the bottom. It was possibly the hardest thing I have ever done. It hurt to do it. It hurt after too. But slowly things got better. I don't pretend to understand why it worked. I just know it did.
It doesn't really matter at this point OP. If what you are doing is not working you need to do something different. Change your T if that is what you think the problem is. Or open up if thats what you think the problem is.
Arrrgghhhh I want to shake you too @Esterio ! Keep trying! Both of you.
The important part is to keep trying until you find something that works. Don't let the fear and the past failures stop you.
Arrggghhh! I want to shake you and yell "speak dammit! speak"!
You need to speak the truth to your T. You owe it to yourself. Don't let the fear stop you.
I know lots of people here like to blame their Ts for everything but sometimes the problem is us and not the Ts.
A terrorist attack is not a natural disaster dammit!
The rest of the article makes me think the conclusion should be "Children who feel they succeeded feel more competent than those who feel they failed".
I hate the word hope. Its such a stupid word.
hope /hōp/
noun
a feeling of expectation and desire for a certain thing to happen
Its such a passive word. Where is the word that says I want to get better and I’ll do anything it takes? Where is the word means I have no expectations but I’ll keep...
Not only is it not practical it is not healthy.
What happens physically and mentally when you have a panic attack? That will somewhat guide how to deal with them.
:) Not being able to describe how you feel is something I am very familiar with. The question that my old T always asked that I hated the most was "how do you feel right now"?
I hope your confusion settles and things start to feel right again.
Oh yeah. I hear you. I live way out in the weeds. Its hard to find healthy food at the two corner markets here but you can buy almost any type of alcohol you desire. I wish it was a little less at hand.
