Welcome to the forum. You're right; this may or may not be PTSD so it's best to be diagnosed by a qualified professional. I think it's normal that more things surface as you get into it more. It probably means you are ready to start working on it. Coming here was definitely a good step...

Generally speaking though, it's really two sides of the same coin, though Dems tend to be better domestically. Still, this time, with the likes of Santorum, Gingrich and Romney in the mix...Obama not winning is a scary thought indeed. Let's not forget he inherited a messed up economy, 2 wars...

Hi Tamara. Welcome to the forum. I don't have kids so I can't offer any words of wisdom. I do know that even parents without ptsd can get overwhelmed and annoyed by bickering etc. so don't be too hard on yourself in that respect. I also know how difficult it can be to just take deep breaths...

This is ongoing...the increasing likelihood that our current government is illegitimate (ie seems like they were involved in massive election fraud, putting our very democracy in jeopardy) and they seem to be brushing it off...and, ironically, they go to other countries to tell them how to run...
