I do have a fantastic relationship with my therapist and he's always asking if I'm ok or if I need a break. Exposure therapy (from what he said) can be a long road for sexual assault victims, so I guess it's time to buckle in.

As my therapist puts it, PTSD is something you learn to manage and live with, knowing eventually that you're safe. As there's no current cure, I've focused on therapy getting me to a better place in my life.

Dissociation was my main coping mechanism for years. I had the mindset while medicated that, "it didn't happen to me, it happened to someone else." allowing me distance from the trauma.
When I was pregnant I had to be on BP meds. Does your thyroid medication help with any mental ailments? I have read studies that it helps with depression but I've never met someone who it's helped.
