What Are You Feeling Today? Not Thinking, Rather Feeling! Can You Identify Yours?

I'm not having many emotions, good mix of physical pains and discomforts though. Everything hurts or feels funny.

What Are You Feeling Today? Not Thinking, Rather Feeling! Can You Identify Yours?

I'm disgusted with myself for being anxious, then frustrated about the pace of progress. Looking for the positive, it's a good day to practice using skills and tools.

What Are You Feeling Today? Not Thinking, Rather Feeling! Can You Identify Yours?

I'm worn out, lots of things going on and very little for me to do about any of it. Very ready for some of that self-care stuff too, think I'll start with carryout for dinner.

What Are You Feeling Today? Not Thinking, Rather Feeling! Can You Identify Yours?

A depressive funk, but an unstable one. It flickers between anger and apathy. Doesn't make much sense at all, and it's tiring me out.

What Are You Feeling Today? Not Thinking, Rather Feeling! Can You Identify Yours?

Being extra anxious earlier today has made me a bit tired. I'm not sure, if I stop moving the depressive aftermath might hit. It makes me really sad to realize how afraid I am. I'm not even sure what scares me? Something. Anything at all really.

Poll Have Others Ever Been Scared Of You? (for Ptsd Sufferers)

Years before diagnosis, back in college I had an evening class. A couple Marines would walk me to my car after that class. They found it amusing- they weren't there to protect me, they were there to prevent harm to whoever might be stupid enough to try anything.

What Are You Feeling Today? Not Thinking, Rather Feeling! Can You Identify Yours?

 for @Anrish , you worked soo hard and did so well with everything else, please forgive yourself for being worn out by the efforts. Hugs for everyone, that way I get one too. I'm confused, then frustrated about being confused until I get annoyed that it's all getting in the way of getting...

    Ptsd And Pms

I know I'm in for about three to four days of heavy suicidal thoughts before being incapacitated by pain for another three days. I don't know what it could have been like before the trauma. In my many years of misdiagnosis, PMDD was brought up- it's premenstrual dysphoric disorder, I think?

    Birthday

I'm sorry you go through that each year, but nicely done on coming up with a solution. That's awesome. I remember sadness on birthdays going back to childhood, no guess as to why. My trick is insisting that 'I wasn't born, I was only hatched', it's a line from an old country song.

What Are You Feeling Today? Not Thinking, Rather Feeling! Can You Identify Yours?

Tried to perk myself up with sale day at the thrift shop. I practically robbed the place on what I bought, great finds. Still down, trying to decide what to try next. Running low on motivation and concentration.

What Are You Feeling Today? Not Thinking, Rather Feeling! Can You Identify Yours?

Very accomplished- I did the outdoor chores. I haven't done those on my own since last year, sort of surprised everyone with that. Tired now, but maybe that's a good thing.

Is It Just Me Or Does Everyone Feel This Way Sometimes?

Aww, me too, but I can't grind my teeth anymore because too many teeth broke off and fell out. Not sure, but I think the jaw clenching may have been a factor in that. The jumpy bouncing leg, if it's a steady rhythmic thing, burns over 200 calories per hour while the rest of you sits perfectly...

What Are You Feeling Today? Not Thinking, Rather Feeling! Can You Identify Yours?

I'm quite relieved, vet called with the test results and it's not all that likely that my girl with have further troubles. She's recovering quite well, and pretty much refuses to let me help her get on or off the couch- little stinker even went upstairs looking for me last night, she's not...

What Are You Feeling Today? Not Thinking, Rather Feeling! Can You Identify Yours?

Thanks @Anrish and I hope your visit goes well. I'm tired from trying to convince my dorky dog that she shouldn't run, jump or act like a monkey until she recovers. Had t-time today, so emotionally it's quiet- it takes a day for that to filter through, I'll probably feel a dozen things within...

What Are You Feeling Today? Not Thinking, Rather Feeling! Can You Identify Yours?

I feel very needed today- my dog is recovering from surgery yesterday and isn't comfortable being more than a foot away from me. She's napping at the moment.

What Are You Feeling Today? Not Thinking, Rather Feeling! Can You Identify Yours?

A bit anxious, but it's pretty reasonable- my dog is at the vet for surgery. Nothing to do but wait and get her favorite blanket ready.

What Are You Feeling Today? Not Thinking, Rather Feeling! Can You Identify Yours?

@Anrish Can I give you a hug? Have a few hugs and a cup of tea, I think you're an awesome person. I'm numb and not sure why there's a smirk on my face. Physically tired, accomplished a lot today. Mostly confused by my own facial expression, it doesn't relate to anything at all that's going on.

What Are You Feeling Today? Not Thinking, Rather Feeling! Can You Identify Yours?

Scary levels of anxiety, and physically I'm a mess. Meds change, with too much other stuff going on. I'm nearing my limits before the day has even begun.

Parents Not Understanding, Yelling At Me.

Are you in therapy or other treatment? If so, try to arrange a family session so your parents can hear from your therapist about your condition. Sometimes it takes the authority of a degree hanging on the wall to make some people listen. If you aren't in therapy there are some online articles...

What Are You Feeling Today? Not Thinking, Rather Feeling! Can You Identify Yours?

I'm glad it's rainy today, that means outside chores have to be postponed. That gives me time to work on stress management and self-care. It's going to be a tough week, but I've got better tools to cope with that than I've ever had before.

    Moving Forward

I agree with @FridayJones that it could be depression. Are the old interests you're turning away from maybe a bit unhealthy? Music is awesome, that's a great outlet and it sounds like a very positive influence in your life. On the other hand it could be a turning point in your healing...

What Are You Feeling Today? Not Thinking, Rather Feeling! Can You Identify Yours?

I'm off balance, not sure which way this is leaning but I don't think I'm going to fall down. I'm going to stumble a little while gravity changes direction. Then pride. I know I can remain upright where others might fall. I've got practice at that, it's why I'm on a ptsd message board and...

    Am I Overreacting?

I know it's not typical, but I'm so used to relatives telling horrid jokes that I've become immune. My great-uncle even has some very naughty songs he sings for guests. A good hard stare is usually enough to discourage the inappropriate humor. If it's via email or social media I don't know-...

What Are You Feeling Today? Not Thinking, Rather Feeling! Can You Identify Yours?

indeed, congrats to @gizmo on your fabulous new dee-luxe apartment, I'm soo happy for you! I'm riding the meds-go-round with a fresh new set of side effects again. Trying to be positive, maybe this one will work. Maybe it won't make me feel ill. I've prepared for the worst possible outcome-...

@Anrish Thank you, hugs are wonderful- and thanks for the giggle about the bag pipe lesson, that's pretty cool.
