It can't be restful for people who twitch for hours my husband has some big jumps sometimes that wake him up and he bruised his foot on our old bed kicking in his sleep, it had a wooden footboard.

Hi lemontree, bloods back shows low phosphate, doctor wants to do test again to make sure, in case test was wrong. Googled it but no twitching side effect of low phosphate in any of the info online. he had really bad twitching the other night, woke me up at 1am and 2am kicking out.

It must just be stress levels, it is truly awful trying to sleep with somebody when they are doing it. Maybe it's a man thing :-(

I will but the tablets he has been taking are antihistamines, as he has some allergies that make him itch. I never knew they could cause twitching! Will post on this thread if we find anything out. Thank you for the support xx

Back from docs gonna send him for blood tests. Also some tablets he is on have the side effect of twitching! But at least they are sending him for tests to rules things out.

It's not nice for them to know they are disturbing their wives! I'm not even sure it's ptsd but after googling I read so much that pointed towards it, he hardly ever remembers dreams but he is clearly dreaming, as he mutters and moans as well as kicking and twitching. And he sweats loads!

My hubby quite often sleeps on sofa as well, that's not good either.
