It's upsetting when you want to avoid a situation and people assume you hate everything and anything involved in it FOREVER! Eg: Me: "I don't want to be alone with some strange man I don't know." Friend: "Yeah I know you hate all men."

I'm great with faces but getting worse and worse with time. It seems to be all one long day, like I usually can't tell someone when something happened even if it was not long ago.

For me nightmares are usually 'normal' enough that I wake up not being 100% sure it was a dream. So I guess they are all subtlety wrong, like in a Stephen King book. But usually something bad happens to people I know and I'm unable to save them.

I've always being abominable at FPS type games (and really every other type as well) so they have never been a problem, but I've found RPGs like Dragon Age and Mass Effect can be quite empowering, since you play as the universe's biggest badass/hero who can make choices to save people (or not)...

I reckon it's like a scar on the brain, it can close up, be 'healed' and not be fatal.... but the numb mass is always there.

Apart from all the other stuff the others have already said, sometimes I feel like an animal = no higher reasoning powers, just the Flight or Fight, kill or be killed. I think that's the worst symptom for me.
