Neither matters. People will love or hate you regardless of anything you try to do to change or influence it.

Living your life the way you want to is plenty hard enough without worrying about other peoples arbitrary likes and dislikes (This assuming you trying to be the best and most good You, you can be obv).

I agree with @Cj77 . I am in the process of being cut off from my daughter and losing contact with my two grandchildren because I turned her and her boyfriend in to the police for child abuse. I also feel relieved that It is now out of my hands and the only person I can change is me. It does hurt, I am only human. I feel like I cut my own throat and I realize this is a distortion in my mixed up mind.
