Still pretty much having the same issues at work that I've had for the past year. i still feel triggered at work all the time, mostly due to loud noises and yelling. My concentration is bad and I even overheard two of my coworkers making fun of the fact that I forget everything. I've applied to...
For what it's worth I work in manufacturing. In school i was taught that if i see something unsafe the procedure is: report it to your boss. If they don't do anything about it, report it to your bosses boss. If they don't do anything about it, go up the chain of management and report it to your...
One of my coworkers got in my personal space last week at work. i was testing something (I'm an electrician) and on the phone with someone from tech support who was telling me how to test this equipment. So this coworker that I've never seen before and I don't know his name, started fiddling...
Yes when things are "calm" I try to plan for how I will handle things when they are not calm. For example I get caught up on chores and try to save some money.
I agree that maybe ask if your inpatient doc can call your regular doc to get a better idea of your conditions/treatment. I have been in inpatient too and I thought finally, they will get to the bottom of my issues. But they were even more busy and indifferent than regular outpatient doctor and...
I haven't posted in a while but lately things have not been good, any advice is appreciated. At my job (Im an electrician) I feel like I'm about to have some sort of breakdown. Everything triggers me, everything is either too loud or too quiet. Everyone either talks to me too much or too little...
Maybe try to make a list of things you can do outside the house: work, volunteer, exercise, shopping, get coffee, etc. Maybe you can take some college classes over the summer if they're available
I have a tattoo that I regret getting but it's pretty small and it's on my upper arm so I can cover it up most of the time and I usually don't even remember it's there. Maybe with time you will get used to it? Another option is getting it covered up with another tattoo design later
I decided to just tough it out at work until summer is over, I just moved recently and I want to get settled into my apartment before I change my work situation or raise any complaints with my boss. At the end of the summer I will think about the situation again. Thanks again for everyone's help
10 years is a pretty long time ago, the University may not care about any incident that happened so long ago. If you write a letter I would just keep it short and to the point. You made some mistakes in the past but got help. Also is there any reason why you have to apply to the same University...
I tried Zoloft and I didn't feel any different mentally, but it did upset my stomach so I talked to my doctor and was prescribed Paxil instead which I have taken for a few months now, it didn't give me any side effects other than feeling tired at first, and it does help my anxiety. Welcome to...
I guess try to find other sources of support, like this forum or other forums. Call a suicide hotline if it helps ( I do this sometimes). Look into support groups in your area (some local newpapers like the ones in my town print a directory of support groups in the area). Some hospitals also...
This person sounds extremely rude, I would ignore him as much as possible. Even when he is being nice to you, I would not try to be friends with him. If he asks why you are avoiding him, maybe make up some excuses like "I have a lot on my plate right now", "I'm not feeling good", "I have a...
