Ok sometimes I'm literally stuck with anxiety. Like I'll just not be able to go out of the house. Sometimes I can't even move from the spot I'm in if that's bad. Sometimes if I can move, I'll get into a ritual where I'm checking myself in the mirror, I'm opening the door, then no I can't do it...
None ptsd related:
Loud eating/breathing/snoring. Yes sounds petty but it literally makes my skin crawl. I just can't handle it. It runs in my family strangely enough.
I'm sure I could be here for days haha. But that's my main one.
When somebody is asking you information about the past (5 previous addresses!) And you just stare like a deer in headlights. Anxiety and trauma fried parts of my brain lady! she looked at me like I was insane.
Umm off the top of my head:
Muscle aches/spasms
TMJ
IBS (its much worse when Im having a particularly rough mental health time)
Frequent headaches
Dizzyness
The shakes (same as IBS)
I'm usually "stiff"
Sleep issues (insomia, messed up sleeping patterns)
Sensitive to sound and movement...
I want to say:
Will you please just stop staring and saying nothing! The silence is killing me! Im sure shes waiting to see what i have to say. But talk about awkward.
In the British soap Coronation Street there is a character called Gary Windass. He was diagnosed with PTSD. Atlough he doesn't seem to show any symptoms anymore!?
