PTSD Forum Online Store Complete - Feedback Required

Please read this entire post often as this post will be constantly updated with viable ideas and solutions that are given in this thread to alleviate reading through any chit chat.

As previously discussed from threads over the years, I have now established an online store via CafePress.com, being the best option around so no out of pocket costs exist. Whilst I am not supposed to use the old image, I have used it for some products as older members are attached to the dog. So the first release include new and old logo items.

The only custom creations thus far are on the Flip Mino & Flip MinoHD, where I have used a Shaman on one version and "Don't Label Me" on another. They also come with both logo designs.

Now, here is the part where all members come into play. Any member who wants to buy an item and they want a custom wording, slogan, saying attached, I will do that only via Private Message (PM) and it cannot be overly complicated. That simply means, if you want me to design an image from scratch, the answer is no. If you have ideas, images that you own, something that is not a brand or blatant breach of copyright, something that will take me less than half an hour to play with and knockout, then YES, I will do that. Best way... ASK ME via PM only.

What I would really want is the slogan's / funny catch phrases we can put together on an item that a majority actually want and would buy.

There is no point me cluttering an online store with items that nobody would actually purchase. I haven't put baby items in yet, as they all require thinking, cute type of stuff, not adult PTSD stuff. I haven't put clocks in yet either, as I still have to custom design them a bit further than I have had to for all the other items.

An example... say the pregnant women with PTSD want:

• I'm Fat, Bloated, Hormonal, Moody & Worst Yet - I Have PTSD!
• or
• I'm Fat, Bloated, Hormonal, Moody & Worst Yet - Bitch Mode Just Kicked In!

Obviously people get the idea. The above is an example. Give me what you have please, any ideas and so forth, and the most voted will make it into the store and those with custom ideas that they actually want to purchase, again, via PM please and I will see if I can do it easily enough.

I have a couple. Don't know if anyone would buy them or even get it if they don't know PTSD.

The first is a play on words from the "Love means never having to say you're sorry" phrase.
"PTSD means always having to say you're sorry" Don't really like that one but I'm thinking, at least, LOL

Or How about?
"PTSD (in bigger letters) Live with it! I Have To!"
So the PTSD across the chest and the rest in smaller letters underneath.

Another:
Would not be possible if it is copyright issue but simply:
"PTSD" across the chest, but mimicking the Superman/Supergirl logo

OR:
In an industrial like motif
"Keep Back 30 Feet"
then underneath something it something like "PTSD on Board"

OR:
for that matter, like the "Baby on Board" signs,
the same logo with "PTSD On Board"

OR:
"I (heart) PTSD" but with a circle around it and a line across it.
So the message is "NO" or "NOT"

WOW, Just looked at cafepress.com and there are already several things there. None that are exactly like any that we've mentioned. Anyone with ideas may want to check there to see if your idea is already there.
One I WISH I had thought of. PTSD: Medicated For Your Protection :rofl:

I've always wondered if the bumper sticker I saw a few years ago was on the car of someone who was a sufferer. "Onward Through The Fog". I realize that it's not something the general public would 'get', however.

Oh. I haven't checked the Cafe to see if it's already there, which somewhat proves the whole 'fog' point.

Oh... all of the designs for this site you will not be able to find via the search on CafePress, as I am not allowing them to be publicly accessible through CafePress, instead you have to come through this site to get direct access to the PTSD Forum shop page. Obviously once released then people can just direct access it on CafePress, but none of the ideas or designs are going to be searchable by search engines or CafePress search. They are exclusive to those who "get it" and also hoping that we can then get away with a few minor copyright aspects that we can buy without worry about things being public for persecution or issues, ie. ISH PTSD in superman type emblem. I don't believe the emblem is copyright, only if you copied it exactly and put Superman, Superwomen, etc within it... as I have seen lots of things ripped off from those ideas, so we can do these things to.

Ideas previously mentioned by members over the years of this being discussed, considering it now being a reality, were:

• A forum t-shirt - "been there, got it and the t-shirt" one side and the forum web address on the back
• Beware of Owner signs for our doors
• "Don't F--- With Me; I have PTSD" t-shirts
• PTSD = Pissed-off, Triggered, Surly & Dangerous
• I have PTSD so; Prepare To Suffer Dreadfully
• Proud To Survive Disorder
• Proud To Survive Daily
• Proud To Smile Daily
• Once a victim, now a survivor
• Positive Treatment Solutions Defender
• Post Traumatic Survivor Disorder

I really would like to come up with a forum t-shirt, though we would need someone who is graphically talented to design some original ideas / concepts, something really unique and valid to PTSD Forum. Really play around with the name, integrate it into an image, something.

May I just add that would whoever does offer please see the commitment through as I know of a couple of occasions where members say they will do something for the forum in terms of graphic design and it never comes about.

I like the PTSD definitions idea in Anthony's # 10 post a lot.

Could I add "Pleased "to Survive etc? Or "Possible" to survive ... to the list? Then something like "therapy works" underneath or the logo and website maybe? I'm not a T-shirt person but I'd love a coffee mug with that on it.
