Don't have hearthfire no. Is that like an extension of skyrim? Is oblivion the predecessor to skyrim?
I figured out what I was doing wrong. Usually, the quests I've been on send to me an actually city, town, hold, fort, castle etc. This time it was actually pointing directly to the item. So the place where I fast travelled to, the bear claw cave or something like that, WAS the actual place I needed to go. The jarls shield was in there.
I just bought the house in Markarth lastnight. Transferred all my stuff from whiterun to it. That only took about 2 hours. lol. But I think I'm going to transfer back my smithing equipment and continue smithing on the skyforge.....
So far I've joined the companions and the thieves guild and am thane in whiterun and now Markarth. I think I'm going to go to Dawnstar next and figure out how to join the assassins guild, maybe then they'll stop randomly trying to kill me...? lol.
At one point I was standing in a sort of open area and could see 2 dragons on either side of where I was. My wife made me wait until she could come down and kill one. She picked the one where the leader dragon dude was just waking up another dragon. She killed it quickly, I was kind of shocked, figured it would take her a couple times to slay the dragon. Hmmm...:O_o:
Definitely finding that I sleep better if when I play Skyrim until 1 or 2am, until I can't keep my eyes open. Great distraction. I'm sort of obsessing on it right now but that'll wear off..... maybe. :whistling:
Still, just the size of the game is pretty cool. The small detail things, awesome. They should make a movie, or books based on it. Or have they already?
