And how to really tell the difference?
I'm experiencing a group of symptoms which I've had for a several years (longer than my 'mental health crisis' fwiw) that could be explained by certain cardiac disorders OR by also possibly by anxiety ... Or maybe it's all in my mind. I can make the case for physical or anxiety ... And worry that I'm making it up in my mind.
I have an appt for an annual checkup with my cardiologist/vascular guy this week - but he was never treating me for a heart issue per se, but for vascular problems.
My symptoms are getting worse. 2 years ago I thought I had the shortness of breath and chest discomfort thing figured out - asthma - and the regimen the pulmonologist gave me worked pretty well at first to moderate that - never felt like 100% relief, more like 80% symptom relief - but even with a change in drugs to add another class of asthma drug back in early December, asthma treatment no longer gives me any significant relief from the symptoms.
I actually "know" what to say to the Dr - "these are my symptoms, please run the necessary diagnostics to diagnose or rule out"
I don't want to sound like a hypochondriac ... I don't think I am....
