You sending her angry text messages simply because she forgot to call you is a little ridiculous.

You don't know that she has PTSD or Alexithymia. You don't know that she's manipulating you by denying feelings.

Unfortunately, PTSD is a life long disorder. There is no cure.
With proper treatment though, it is manageable.
Are you seeing a therapist? Are you taking any meds?
Sadly, most college professors won't do that. I get it though. Better to be blatantly honest sometimes. If there's is no chance I could pass, I'd like to know.
I have a friend that is currently still enlisted.
