There are 4 other book shelves in other rooms as well as boxes of books in storage. When I was married we moved a lot for my wife’s work. One move I counted how many boxes of books I had and it was 50. I think this last move I was down to 20 something. It is a lifetime affliction and I need to cull more.

. This is a librivox audiobook it’s about 23 hours long and it’s free. The narration is done by volunteers and so not professional. I like this one and can sleep to it if I sleep at all.

I am reading Black Wolf by Louise Penny and We Can Do Hard Things by Glennon Doyle and Solutions and Other Problems by Allie Brosh and am about to start Pansy by Andrea Gibson. I have a hard time reading right now so I seem to be countering that by starting multiple books at once which is not helping matters. My goal is to try to focus on the first and last one in the list as those are library books. I listen to audiobooks at night and have been going through the Artemis Fowl series which is okay, but gets kind of predictable after awhile which is important in a kids' series and works well for bedtime listening.

Today I read the book “3 Lives” by Gertrude Stein. Very much enjoy her style, it is unique to me and very modern. I think it helps that I read “Mrs. Dalloway” last week. I am starting to understand the early 20th century transition to modernism in literature.
