I would suggest just telling your T how uncomfortable the entry phone makes you. Rather than trying to find a way to avoid it work with her to get past or control the anxiety the phone causes.
Agreed. Short of sleeping with a sock in your mouth there is not much you can do anyway. If you keep working on getting better the screaming eventually stops (mostly) and the nightmares die down.
