    I also took self defense classes. It was triggering, but a real attack will definitely be triggering also, and we don't want to freeze then. The classes did help me feel safer overall.

    Okay, but when my flashbacks were coming really often, I have no idea what triggered them either. Eventually, they just stopped coming so frequently. I can tell what triggers periods of worst symptoms.

    General Motivation

    How much I accomplish depends on WHY I am motivated. As a single woman I would have enjoyed the day off and done basically nothing. As a mom, I feel more of a need to cook, clean, teach, etc. Give yourself a break and enjoy! Don't ruin a relaxing day with guilt.
