@Radise , essentially any member can participate. Nicolette has been kind enough to take the time and effort to organise this for a couple of years. Here it is called Kris Kringle, another name that you might be more familiar with is 'Secret Santa'.

A few months before Christmas, Nicolette has posted a thread to invite members to participate. You would then send her a PC, with your home address. Once everyone has joined and given her details, she sends out individual PC's to everyone taking part, containing the name and address of the person you are sending a gift to. Everyone participating sends a 'secret' gift to another member, which means every member participating receives a gift. The idea is that it's anonymous. When you receive your gift, you don't know who sent it, and will likely never know. You then store the gift (unopened), until the big reveal day, when everyone participating meets in the chat room, and opens their gifts one by one.

As far as I'm aware, Nicolette tries to ensure that participants get gifts from other countries / other states. It's good fun, and lovely to receive a gift from another part of the world.
