2015 Kris Kringle Gift Opening

Each of these items has a personal meaning you wouldn't have know about. These will likely be my only gifts his year so they mean that much more! I adore my personal pocket xmas tree! I'm not putting a tree up this year so this will serve in its place.

And this my friends is why I love KK across the world so much. You never know how much a small amount of thoughtfulness and kindness will impact on someone's life. Christmas carries with it the gift of giving and it's delightful and heartwarming to watch people receive gifts even if they don't cost a lot. CrowFeather's gift looks like it contained a lot of personal effort on behalf of the giver (don't have my tracking spreadsheet with me on holidays sorry) and based on what else I know and can't disclose, it was justifiably deserved :) This is just one example but from what I'm reading everyone put thought into their gift giving. Well done everyone!!! I hope you enjoyed it. Thanks to everyone involved.

@Sammyiam and @Anrish thanks for taking up the role of organising the gift opening when I wasn't available this year. You embraced it and did a good job. Thank you for being selfless Sammy and waiting for KP.

while I hadn't thought of a jigsaw, it's exactly the right thing.

Loved this and saw it while in the car. I told Anthony about it and he liked the jigsaw idea and drew the PTSD journey parallels also.

Thank you KK! I got pentel colored pencils and pentel is my favorite brand and an a awesome adult coloring book, always wanted one but never got around to it. I also got a beautiful package of assorted hot cocoa boxes with a beautiful silver cord with a stunning snowflake attached which I am going to put in my memory box. Big hugs to you who ever you are because this present is just so fun filled and I always say one cannot ever have too much fun! Looking forward to the coloring and making me some hot cocoa now. Yum.

I will need to resize my photo in order to post it. As I am not real savvy as far as computer files, that may require some work but I wanted to post about how much my gift means to me.

I know that so many people struggle here but on the other side have you ever just had something fall into place? Something that just seems to fall into your lap when you need it?

I received a note pad called an intention tracker. To quote part the label, "You start the day off with so many good intentions -where do they all go? Whether you want to attract positive energy or just get rid of household clutter , this pad has your karma covered" The pad allows you to list "today I will..... Be, Feel, Do, Appreciate, Let go of, Attract" and lines to list things under each category.

I have really struggled lately. I wake up at night thinking of things that happened when I first came here panicked. A new realization that I have been living life as if I am in control, the guy that fixes everything. But not myself. I had something happen that was one of those "snap out of it" moments. I have been drinking more, for one thing. And one of my realizations as I am doing a self assessment is that I need to find a way to let go of some things.....feelings. And here, from my KK, is as a tool just at the moment I struggle. Wow. I will be hitting the "let go of" list very hard.

I also received a box of affirmation cards. Again, as I look at some of them, this will help me so much right now. Thank you so much KK! I am blessed by my participation here.

On another note, anyone remember the Dr Freud Thread? Ha, ha, if not do a search. It was a direct result of a KK gift a few years back. Maybe you will see an "Affirmations" thread, ha ha.

Yes, the most fun for me is looking for something that I hope will be meaningful. And if international, something about my local area. I did an exchange on another forum a few times. I have little flags from Canada, Scotland, New Zealand. All of my international gifts are in a drawer in my night stand. Well, except the Dr Freud Therapy Ball, of course. :woot:
