Yeah I am aware that it could be other disorders causing this or plain and simple my own laziness:p But I'm interested to find out the truth I mean if I know I have adhd it will mean I will learn how to be more effective in uni despite having it. Thats my biggest problem atm.
My psychologist never emailed me back, which is annoying but im hoping maybe hes away and has not checked his mail in a while :S He knows me best and has seen me at my best and worst, if he suggested going for an assesment id feel more confident in getting it checked out.
I'm aware I can be a bit of a hypochondriac which is really what scares me about getting tested I'm afraid they will think badly of me cause I think I have a disorder when I don't, does that make sense?? ii,h not so scared about being diagnosed with it because I feel a diagnosis can only help right?? it will help put motions forward for me to get better or manage it better or recover??
Can u recover from adhd?? anyway I mean if I have it and stay undiagnosed it doesnt mean I dont have it just makes life harder for me, thanks u guys so much for the advice:) I will EVENTUALLY get around to making an appointment with the psychology department, in fact I will do it on friday(i hope!) so wish me luck whatever the outcome:p can i ask, do you know straight after the tests are done whether u have it or do you have to wait for a diagnosis in the mail or something?? xx kerrence
