Are You A Night Owl Is Anyone Here More Nocturnal?

In my area it's not the slightest bit odd to be up late- the factories always had night shift workers. Thanks for reminding me what a good thing that is. I've had a few late shift jobs, but now I'm doing work-from-home stuff. If you can find online work that fits your skills, it doesn't matter if you're doing it at 4am. Things like running online stores or writing have been good for me, flexible hours when my sleep routine is out of whack.

I am nocturnal, yet I hate waking up late. Since my daughter's birth I seem to have found a compromise by going to bed at 8 when she does, and then waking up around 3 - 4. But my sleeping patterns are generally all over the show.

Before I became self-employed I found every morning of my life almost traumatic. Throwing myself into a busy and noisy world while I felt the need for peace and calm and quiet, and solitude above all, knocked the stuffing out of me. I hated life every single morning.

My daughter who also has PTSD was born a night owl. She is so creative and busy at night. She has always been this way. She gets so much accomplished at night, but she sleeps the entire day.

Luckily for the granddaughters, I am not a night owl so I am up for them during the day.

It all seems to work out well.

By the way, when my daughter needs to go somewhere she usually gets up in the morning and takes a nap when she gets home.

This is a great post and I am going to share this information with her.

I do the same thing gizmo if I need, to do something really important but I try not to interrupt my sleep pattern at all costs.
