In a first-of-its-kind effort to illuminate the biochemical impact of trauma, researchers at NYU Langone Medical Center have discovered a connection between the quantity of cannabinoid receptors in the human brain, known as CB1 receptors, and post-traumatic stress disorder, the chronic, disabling condition that can plague trauma victims with flashbacks, nightmares and emotional instability.

Who ever posted the "Brain-Imaging Study". Thank you! :DThis information is imperative that it get out, so folks can see the importance of this wonderful plant. Another study I found helpful is a study through UCLA and Cannabis on Youtube. That will just be a great start for any vids that you wish to use for study.

That's so true. It would be good if people were treated with a little more consideration of the physical aspects of PTSD, and if only they kept an eye on a person's physical health during treatment too, I reckon treatment would be better.

I've definitely found this to be the case in my personal research. It calms me greatly but the side effects can be too intense. I'm hoping they find a way to hone in on it and limit the side effects experienced from smoking.
