My nephew is in town so I ducked out for the weekend. Made an appearance at home last night and it was all bad. Same this morning. Very glad I'm gone for a few more days while he rides out the rest of this.

@StFinley I am not from the US but wouldn’t it be possible to get medication from the VA? Maybe the Americans on this board know.
Unfortunately I think that painkillers and alcohol do not mix very well. In fact this can be very dangerous.

Took 4 days for him to reach out after Memorial Day. He is doing OK. I view this as quite a quick turnaround compared to normal.

Mean't to come back and say thank you to you all. He got through it relatively easily this time. I tried my best to keep him distracted and gave him the space he needed when he needed it.
