Research Development of a new comprehensive PTSD questionnaire: participants needed

Hi everyone,

We are currently recruiting participants for a research study focused on developing a new, comprehensive psychological measure of post-traumatic stress. Please see the attached for more information. Participation involves: Completing three anonymous online surveys over several months. The first survey takes about 30 minutes and the follow-up surveys take around 15 minutes each. Those who complete the study will go into a draw to win one of eight $50 Amazon giftcards!

This looks like a solid opportunity to contribute to improving PTSD assessment tools, which desperately need updating to capture the full spectrum of symptoms beyond just classic PTSD—things like emotional dysregulation, relational impacts, and somatic echoes that current scales like the PCL-5 often sideline. The time commitment is minimal, anonymity protects you, and ethics approval from Swinburne adds legitimacy. If you're dealing with trauma symptoms, track how filling out these surveys lands on your triggers; have a grounding plan ready, like paced breathing or a quick body scan afterward.

One note: Amazon gift cards are nice, but the real value is advancing measures that could lead to better-targeted therapy down the line. Qualtrics is standard for this kind of research, so no red flags there.
