DID DID problems with airpods

So .... I put my airpods to have conversation awarness a year ago when I was actually working a job and wanted to be able to chat with colleagues. Problem? They cease to function when ... I'm talking to myself. Oops.

Other funny DID problems?

dissociating while cooking and accidentally making particulated egg instead of whatever consistency the egg in normal egg fried rice/noodles is.
happened while cooking with my friend over and apparently beforehand I insisted I could do it too, lol
