Alice in Wonderland

Yes I get a ringing and buzzing in my ears just before sleep paralysis. Sometimes I hear noises behind the walls of the room also. I have had sleep paralysis for years and I was never scared of it before becuase like another poster said previously I am also able to control it and turn it into a lucid dream. BUT last week I had an experience where I saw a dark figure standing at the door (i know this is common) but I had a familiar feeling of terror, I remmebered the dark figure watching me before and then in the most clear and loud voice as if he were in the room with me (but he lives in another country) I so very clearly heard the voice of a male family member whispering to me. I know believe that the sleep paralysis is repressed memories of childhood trauma trying to escape but that I am blocking them. I do really want to remember but when the sleep paraysis happens I am too scared and immediatly try and turn it into a lucid dream. Does any one else think along the same lines as this?
