Nope.Less have heard of a dissasociation spectrum. It has a name: schizotypy
In neither the ICD or DSM is disassociation purely in the schizo. It can be and when referring to schizoid disorders, not only sure, but the level and type of disassociation is part of what defines the schizotype (schizophrenic phenotype, originally, now a much broader range from cluster A on down) involved.
But PTSD is in an entirely different rubric than schizoid disorders / it’s not schizotypy when referring to disassociation in PTSD, DID, Autism Spectrum, ADHD, or any of the other myriad (a couple hundred) disorders that contain disassociation.
Squares and rectangles. All schizotypy may be disassociation, but not all disassociation is schizotypy.
