Somehow, when I wasn't looking, we crossed over to 51% of goal :), thanks to a generous gift from a guest named Louise. Thanks Louise!

We're doing well at staying ahead of the benchmarks - it'd be great to keep this pace up all the way thru. :tup:

I just wanted to say how proud I was that we are ahead of our goal at the halfway mark this year. By next year, I think it will be unimaginable to new members that we were struggling so badly month-to-month. Thank you to everyone, especially because I have not been able to donate since our drive. :tup: :hug:

I will try to donate when I can. My personal budget is pretty tight, because of my rescue animals. However, I like having the pay option of editing and/or deleting my posts. With my mouth..Lord knows I need it. ha

@Purplemunchkin I'm thinking, but hoping not, that things might quieten leading up to Christmas and then into the New Year due to the nature of Christmas and added expenses. It would be lovely to meet our goal in time :)

I just wanted to thank everyone for their continued donations and congratulate the forum on how close we are to our yearly goal with four months to go.

I would also like to remind everyone that we have a lot of repeat contributors, people who regularly donate and have done so since before our donation goals became yearly. These members are greatly appreciated. However, I would love to see more 10, 5, and $1 donations as we truck on through the last quarter of our deadline. Every little bit counts in keeping this resource going.

It only takes an hour's overtime a month for me to contribute a regular, monthly amount......one simple hour. It's not a lot of money but does mount up over the year. If people who could afford to do it, did it, I'm sure it would make a huge difference.

Think about it.......one extra hour a month. To me, that small effort is worth it.

If ever active member throughout the year donated a $1 - $5 we would easily achieve our goal. I agree that it would be nice to see some new names in the donation list.

I think that sounds a great idea, everyone donate a dollar and we would be there before Christmas.
