Ok, throwing around some ideas in my head and came up with this... How about a raffle? Anthony and Nicolette choose/buy a gift at a price that they come up,with. Or a vote is taken on the forum for REASONABLY priced gift. Then a 30 day time frame for people to donate a set amount to cover gift and profit. Let's say gift is $50, and donation would be set at say $2-$3 for anyone that wants a chance at the gift. At the end of the 30 days, (if enough donations have been collected) then a name is picked from the people that donated. If not enough donations are collected in the 30 days, then move it to 60 days. It could also be a secret prize to add to the mystery.

Just throwing around crap in my head. Maybe I shouldn't..... Lol

Raffles are nice for leveling the playing field. People tend to feel OK with just giving a small amount.

Raffles on-line have various legalities. Example- gambling laws may or may not apply. It might be wise to seek legal expertise prior to moving forward on any consideration.:notworthy:

Raffles do have legalities, but typically not for social type situations, which this is, and is not of huge monetary gain, i.e. a house or car being raffled.

Smart Recovery does a member auction of donated items, annually... between October and November. It takes a lot of orchestration but it helps to fund them. We've got a lot of artsy and crafty peeps here, But that's not likely what your after. I did though notice things slipped this quarter, I'll make up my part.
