Dream reality no longer a "shut-off" zone

Hello friends!

Today's morning I got off to a late start with bountiful energy around 11am. [Might have to do with the 20mg of CBD gummy I took yesterday evening.] I have just started up Prozac and something else for bedtime that has been regulating my sleep/wake cycles for the first time in my life, it seems like.

I used this plenty of energy to take my dog, Moose, on a walk this morning. Getting myself moving in the morning is something I like to do to jumpstart my body but that has been extremely difficult to do, let alone get out of bed, over the past 4 months. On this walk, I began to recall that my dream had to do with my dog having ticks on his ear.

The closer I looked at his ear, it seemed, the more ticks that seemed to appear. While this may seem like a strange dream, one can say nightmare if they're afraid of critters (I worked in a bug lab so, to me, they're just another "specimen"), I remembered something I'd been forgetting! --To give my dog his monthly flea, tick, and heartworm meds.

They're given to him on the 21st every month, but I've been forgetting because of an anxiety spiral that I've been in. Just thought It would be interesting to share a little bit of how my "dream reality" is working together with the "working memory" part of my brain, to piece together my fractured psyche/reality.

Good wishes, vibes and kisses,
Ang

Cool! And useful! The brain works in such interesting ways. Deep down, you remembered! And I'm so happy for you for being able to get out of bed and move around! I bet Moose was very happy about that.

Also, cool that you worked in a bug lab. :D

(Do you have a smart phone? Put a dated reminder or a calander event in your phone or other device to remind you! I do that for my dog's stuff.

I would hate to feel guilty later for something that was my responsibility... I feel I'm not alone, so maybe that'll help you! Luckily your brain seems to have been working like that reminder, though!)

I always say 'They depend on me to do right by them, get off your butt and do it.' When it comes to my cats. If I don't do anything all day constructive, I make sure they are my one constructive chore.
