I can't believe this is being used but here is the link. If anyone did that to me and I got messages from facebook like that it would send me over the edge. How invasive. What do others think?

Maybe this is a generational thing? Maybe someone who's grown up (?) using things like FB wouldn't find it creepy. But, I do. But then, I also find FB creepy! Big Brother really is watching!

Seriously with you on this, if any muppet thought to do that to me on facebook (not that I really use it)...I'd hit the roof. The thought of random (and likely spectacularly condescending) messages being auto-sent is just beyond disgusting.

As to the point of the notifier being kept anonymous - I'd immediately do a "status update" calling whoever they are out. I'd be beyond livid.

And if your page is private and you have to wonder who it was?

Dangerous. There is so much cyber bullying going on out there. I can't see this as being a good thing at all.

Just been debating with someone who thinks it is a good idea. That it could save lives. I just cannot see how doing that would help at all. It would send me crazy.

I think it's from people who don't possibly 'get it'. I think they're confusing it with 'moods'.

I get really repulsed with reading things from people who don't get it. But it might just be me..

And what about the bullies who would think it's funny to flag people. Opens up a lot of doors just on that one idea.

Maybe it reflects the depth of people's "desperate" posts to begin with. Do truly suicidal people openly post about it on FB?

Don't use FB myself.
