It's not too much to ask for. But in order to be here, you've got to be able to hear different perspectives and not go on the attack. You can't assume people know what you are thinking.I guess I should have known that would be too much to ask for.

If you really thought folks were just stupid... I don't think you would have reached out.Then again, judging by some of the responses I've received, maybe my initial perception was correct and people are just that stupid. Some of the folks in this thread certainly seem to be.
The most brilliant mind in the world can't be in your head and know what you think and feel. This is a very diverse community with people from cultures all over the world. What might be common sense to another might be something new to you, and vice versa. I remember one discussion about if "kiddo" or "kid" was a term of endearment or not in various cultures. I assumed one way and quickly learned new information that it wasn't the case for others. Common sense is somewhat relative.@joeylittle, you'd think it would be common f*cking sense in a forum dedicated to PTSD. Jesus Christ, this is exactly the kind of thing I'm talking about.
This is your interpretation. There are other possible interpretations. Ones that may be just as accurate and would leave you in less distress and probably feeling less alone in your experiences in the world.So snarky and disingenuous for those of you following along at home.
