I started a job about 3 months ago, was doing really well, I was in 125 sertraline and 50mg amisulpride, I’ve been seeing a therapist for last 6 months who has helped me greatly, also had 3 emdr sessions which were fine, had a letter from mental health unit( local) so went along, he said I don’t have ptsd just anxiety, so I asked what anxiety, and he couldn’t give me a answer, this was 5 mins after seeing him, he changed my meds sertraline increase to 200 and drop amisulpride and also buspirone 5 mg 3 times a day, that was a month ago, I feel sleepy and lethargic, I also handed my notice in job, I cannot get appointment until new year and so I’m stuck, I think I’m going to slowly come off the buspirine, and stick with 200 mg dose of sertraline and speak to gp in morning, do you think this is my best plan, I’m not going to just drop anything suddenly, I was doing really well last few months but don’t want to get back where I was, thanks for reading:)

Honestly I can't say much on meds myself (personally I get off sertraline as fast as I get on it every time!). But how long has it been since the change in meds? For me nothing levels out for a month or two at least and the worst bit is knowing as bad as you are, it gets worse before there's any benefit. Can I ask why you handed in your notice if the job seemed to be going well not long ago? Are you making decisions off the back of feeling so bad at the moment or is there something specific to the job that has changed?

I hope things start looking up for you. If it's over a month and you're really quite concerned then definitely go see the doctor and tell them how it's impacting you. Good luck!
