There are very few times that I can remember not giving each other shit in the military. It's part of OUR thing. I had a hardcore bn commander tell me that If the soldiers under your command "aint bitching, or giving each other shit, you have a problem". ;)

Seems poosible, but some make it personal when it wasn't intended or cannot detect sarcasm. That is just the Beast talkin. And sarcasm screamers are usually simply cynics in denial. Otherwise, as Sludge noted: comedy serves a great purpose for us, it was a significant part of the camraderie we enjoyed about the military. And as Jimmy noted, Funnies were the first place I retreated when the old boys club thought they ran things but Anthony & the forum majority fixed that making this a much better experience overall.
