Good smells

[Friday]

NOT FERTILIZER.

I am remembering the days without being surround by bovine or fishy horribleness, with intense longing.

A “good smell” in retrospect? Is still a good smell. The absence of a bad one, and the first day dawning bright & clear, something to look forward to.

Ohh I haven’t had a Jasmine tea in years and years.

i also love the smell of Jasmine Rice

Jujubes.

Today outside a few times in a row I smelt a beautiful smell, sort of like roses, but I was no where near any flowers? Was really a lovely smell, wherever it came from.

Where I live, these are a kind of fruit, sort of looks like a date, kind of tastes like a dried apricot, I first encountered at the Chinese tea shop. I don’t remember them having much of a smell though. Have picked them off a tree/bush growing in the neighborhood and don’t remember a smell either. What is a jujube to you?

On my morning walk I noticed what could only be described as “fresh green”.

Also, a beautiful chaste tree (Vitex) loaded with seeds and new purple flower spikes emitting a heavy spicy aroma.
