Other Head injuries as a small child?

When I was about 2 and a half, I ran into something and cracked my head. It required stitches. Just recently, I noticed on the left hand side of my skull, starting from the top and going down to the bridge of my nose is a gap. I can place my small finger in it, my partner reckons it cannot be a crack otherwise liquid would leak out, but that it could be a dent?

I reckon the skull plates did not heal together properly. I mean as a small child, your skull is really soft still. I just discovered this weirdness lately with my skull. I am wondering if it may influence behaviour? I was pretty disturbed as a small child and did all kind of weird things.

Has anyone else experienced this or have information on it?

Anna,

It looks like some big monsters have been disturbed in your imagination which may or may not be true.

These questions need to be addressed to a professional person. This is because there can be such a mariad of answers like which came first the chicken or the egg.

Everyones physical, emotional, mental and spiritual make-up is different to everyone elses. The left side of your body is not the same as your right side. It may just be a part of the way you are and not be part of your mental health issues. A six month old child who puts his finger up his nose for the first time would think that it feels weird and finds the sensation weird also.

I had a fractured skull at around the same age you had your head injury. Nobody has ever said how mine happened. My injury shows up in my medical records, yours might show up in your own.

All I know is sometimes a blow to the body may have further consequences than just the initial physical trauma. In 2005 I recieved some heavey blows to my body by a group of adult males. Some of those blows were to my stomach area, and now I have diabetes. Did one of those blows damage my spleen or cause my diabetes? I don`t know. I have asked loads of doctors. The answer is always the same, I don`t know. I still want to find out about my head injury and my diabetes and how they occured, I will continue to ask periodically because it will close doors for me. I am one of those people who need to know things. Ask yourself do you need to know and why do you need to know.

You must accept that you may never find out the answer. It is so difficult when the need is so great, I know this and I feel for you.

Try not to worry about this too much. Remember to ask the most appropriate people possible and don`t be put off if you realy want to know your answer.

Good luck with your quest

God bless
