Alex mate, all the people on the other forum have PTSD too. Some of them have been through horrible traumas like being held captive and abused. The difference with us is that we have see the horrors of war for a prolonged period and have been trained to hold all our emotions in check.

In reality, everyone with PTSD suffers the same, that is why there is no difference in the DSM IV (the bible of psych conditions)

Yeah I know. I first joined the other forum and was constantly cautioned for use of language, and for not playing fair. This forum is awesome because we can be who we want to be. Your cool mate.

The DSM V when it comes out hopes to have a section just for veterans, as we can have multiple traumatic experiences in one mission.
