She's still in the hospital but wouldn't you know. US deficit jumped to $17.024 trillion, a $328 billion increase in just one day.
And the dollar took a nose dive and China downgraded our rating to an A minus.

There is no ceiling until February. It will be interesting to see how much spending is accrued.

There is no ceiling period... because you can't seal a debt country like the US who will never pay back any of that money, because that would mean facing the reality of what I just said. That would mean another GFC, except with far further reaching consequences this time... once again caused by America's capitalist model. It is the anti to communism, which is equally a tested model for failure, and was devised in a period when Americas biggest issue was a communistic Russia who they felt they must compete and do the opposite... and we all know how that ended. America is just trying to avoid what needs to happen... which is bankruptcy.

Once that happens, America needs to change its entire political and economic models if it wants to continue into the future with any type of prosperity.
