I bought something back from the past.I had a Craftsman toolbox I bought used from the 1960s when I was 16 years old.Was my first toolbox.Did save the money up for it working. It was a family that was selling things, their dad passed away and went to the estate sale selling his stuff.I checked it out and my dad was with me.Looked at the widow and asked how much, told me $150.00 and bought it.My dad remembers that day,saw I learned a good lesson called money does not grow on trees, you earn it.I sold it when I bought my first pro toolbox during college after I got out the Marines.Regreted doing it.I went to a garage sale this morning and fell in love seeing it.The lady said $100.00 for it and said deal.I had a picture of me taken with it and knew what to look for,had a Chevrolet bow tie sticker on one side.It was still there and never selling it ever again

That's pretty cool! I bought back my first car 15 years after I sold it, too. It's officially dead now, but it was super cool to get back. It was a lesson in finances for me, too. Plus my dad and I restored it together way back when. It's pretty special to me.

I'm glad you got your toolbox back. I think you're right about hanging onto it!

How exciting to find your tool box... what are the odds.... that is so great to read.... don't let go of it again.... great story and thanks for sharing... made me smile !!!!

It brought back so many memories. My dad said he was proud of me that day saving the money up for it.I was working for a guy at the time whom owned his own small engine repair shop scrapping engines, junk lawnmowers and helping him out
