I Managed To Lose Weight

Just 4 months ago I was alarmed that my weight had risen to 91 kilos. I had been working 7 months (long time unemployed before that), and eating at work, at home, then some cans of beer, no exercise... So I had put on 6 kilos so quickly that my balance even changed due to belly - I felt like I had to learn new way of walking.

I decided I have to loose weight materially. It was September.

Now I just measured: 83 kilos! :smile: Eight kilos in 4 months.

I'v been eating perhaps less than 1/3 what I ate while working, spinning exercise bike 1-2 hours, say 3-4 times a week.

My goal 80 kg is not far away. BTW that's the ideal weight for a man my size.

Hey, another thing: I'v been feeling better since I started studying (well, the initial reading was triggering) about C-PSTD here. There was a zillion things I wondered every day, about why I'm so anxious and act certain ways - this site has been a big help in understanding what's going on.:thumbs-up

Well done Mark... I know what you mean about weight gain being so easy. I usually put on weight during winter, then loose it all really rapidly come summer. Go figure. I lost the 10kg I put on during winter in 4 weeks flat. Now back to around my ideal weight at about 95kg... when I was my absolute skinniest and fittest during the Army, I weighed 86kg, so I can live with anything around the 90 - 95kg mark nowadays. I find 93kg and I feel really healthy at that weight for my height and size (broad shoulders).
 
I am so glad that someone has beat the battle of the buldge........I need to lose about 20 pounds. I excersie 5-6 hours a week...My biggest problem is portion control. I LOVE food...I did manage to cut way back on sweets. I have only slipped up 3 times since before Christmas, so i consider that great, compared to eating sweets and chocolate EVERY stinking day......
