@jd9900 - Buddy wants you in fighting shape!
That story reminds me of when I lived in this apt. years ago. It was a Saturday morning. I was undiagnosed and living a life of isolation avoiding all triggers by spending every weekend alone on my couch watching TV. I'm pretty deaf so I don't hear much. But I kept hearing a strange mournful wail at a weird frequency coming from somewhere. I finally turned down my TV volume, got up and opened the front door.
There sat a black cat who stood up immediately and walked right into my apartment. She stopped after a few steps, turned, looked up at me and meowed so I said, Hi Kitty and pet her. Then she took a few steps and turned, looked up at me and meowed so Id pet her again. And this would go on and on - take a few steps, turn, meow, get petted, repeat.
She lived down the hall and her owner would let her stretch her legs and she'd come visit me.
It was a work out, but I loved my safe visitor!
