Into The Woods - Enthusiast Countdown

Disney's adaptation of Intoo the Woods comes out in three days, on Christmas. I have been a devotee of the original production since I was eight years old. It taught me many things and gave me much advice, really. I'm excited for the adaptation even if it winds up being terrible.

Anyway, I have some quotes I'll be posting from songs and dialogue while I await the premier. :)

I love Into the Woods! I remember seeing it with my grandmother when I was a child. I'm excited for the movie as well, and I am praying that it is good. I love Meryl, too!

We won't get to go on Christmas day but will soon after. The cinematography looks beautiful and I think the music will be as well. I've loved Into the Woods since I was young, and last year it was on Netflix so my kids and I watched it together. :) My teen daughter is just as excited for this version as I am!

I'm actually afraid to see it! I'll wait until after the initial reviews come in. If I see it and its bad, I'm afraid it'll ruin Into The Woods for me!

When I was a kid, our property was 3/4 woods and 1/4 grassland (with the house in the middle of the grass. During the summers, I probably spent more time up in the trees and having a great time than I did on land. Forests have often made a great difference in my life. Here where I retired, it is a U.S. National Forest. It is called The Nantahala. It is HUGE. I am surrounded by the Smokey Mountains and they are covered with the forest. It is so beautiful!
