I just saw it. As a superfan, I have to say, I was impressed. The censoring was practically zero. It was a lot like listening to the soundtrack. I think they cut perhaps five songs. They also shortened one. They only cut three characters, I think (unless you count Rapunzel's twins).

Very satisfied with the adaptation.

I saw it tonight. It was wonderful! Christopher Pine was so hilarious. Best quote - "I was raised to be charming, NOT sincere!"

My daughter and I are going to make a day of it and see The Hobbit and Into the Woods in celebration of her almost 14th birthday! We've never ever gone to two movies in one day before and both of us are super excited!

For all who see the movie and love it, I can't recommend the original soundtrack enough. I know the album is on YouTube, so I assume it is elsewhere.

And I highly recommend this. It's the finale of act one, and a modified version of it is the finale of act two.

For anyone who was a fan before, I'm wondering if there are any thoughts of them changing Jack's age pretty dramatically. The play even has the line, "[Living with your mother?] A boy of your age?" as well as another reference (but a bit of a spoiler) to Jack being older than Little Red.

Lush, vivid, humorous, and maybe better than the original are a few of my thoughts after seeing the new version of Into the Woods. :) My daughter and I just loved it, and then we saw The Hobbit Battle of the Five Armies so it has been a visually intense and stunning day!
