Thank God I only took lamictal one night. The next day low, and can't breath. Then anger snap anger. So my GABA is high, and right with out the pills no seizures ever in my life, and the keep giving my f*cking epileptic medicine.
If I stay on it I'll end up in a mental institution, and they have hurt me enough in there.
I will end up yelling, and screaming and psycho. I'm so done with this bullshit new science. f*ck that. I only went to school, and made progress in therapy in the past and 5 years of my life in the past were gone to f*cking shrinks not listening.
Today I start therapy. f*ck this shit. I'm so sick of people trying to tell me I'm bipolar when two psychiatrist I saw for 10, and two years weekly swore I am not.
No magic pill. f*ck it's going to be a week of watching my ass and not acting on this. Better than a month to three months of bad pill detoxing. Stay calm it's just the meds. It takes a month if I'm on em for two weeks.
He's probably going to want me on it and add more until I'm up to 3-5 pills drooling a land suicidally depressed.
I'm done the experts are right straight PTSD cure is therapy if you don't have chemical imbalances.
At least I'm on a new better track than ever in the past.
So irritated!

@JoannaDoe - I am not telling you that your experience is invalid - but what you describe would be an incredibly unique reaction after one dose of many drugs; especially a slow titration drug like Lamictal.

It's not unusual to have severe psychosomatic symptoms when carrying anxiety about a medication. It's also not unusual to feel sick for a few days, up to a week - depending on the drug.

What matters most is that you do what's right for you - and it sounds like that's going to be not using any medication adjunct to therapy. There's nothing wrong with that at all.

But, for others who might read this and jump to conclusions about their own medication experience - I wanted to give an alternative viewpoint.
