Was able to paint today and yesterday. Really have been struggling lately. One more to paint for the gallery, to finish my series then I'm taking a bit of a break for a couple weeks. Glad I was able to finally dig deep. This is titled "The Big Magic" it's 42x42.

Thank you @The Black Phoenix I really appreciate that. Just have an intuition for it I guess. I agree.. I don't know where I would be if I couldn't paint or play music. In a much darker place I'm sure. :hug:

Brought in the new year with "Antithesis"42x42 acrylic.

Think I will just keep this thread here to share my works. They are the one positive thing that is constant in my life and I do like to share that positivity with you. Wow I haven't posted here since march.... things are going good for me this year. Art is selling and I made enough in one year that would have exceeded the amount I would have made working at apart time job somewhere... I still think getting a part time somewhere would be good for me but at the same time im pretty dang proud of myself for what I've accomplished this year!

In other news I start training at the gym again next week.. going to food prep this weekend. I think I'm doing great in some ways for getting myself prepared to make a more positive lasting lifestyle change. This isn't new to me but I've really had to take a good rest these past two years to be able to do the mental work.. maybe this will last maybe not but I can't worry about that. I can only do what I can do right now. And I'm tickled I feel like doing something. So big wins for ironlady right now. :)

Yes you are right, to overcome your own trauma voices is a major accomplishment, and to not listen to people who attempt to tear down an innocent victim is just as important.
