Making everyone else happy avoid conflict

I feel like i just say yes to everyone just to avoid conflation i agree to anything for an easier life for no fights or arguments with people i like so i copy them one person i copyed was the minister of a church iwas going to who i see as a father figure he was born female but is now males i have idenity issues because of borderline personality disorder and thought i should be like him be male too i cant talk to him about how i feel i want to go to another church now iwas there today i need to tell him am going to the other church that is the kinda worship i like and the church i want to be going to there maybe a face off unsure how to tell him kinda scared about it dont like facing up to stuff like this

I’m not a church-goer these days, but used to be. I really don’t think that there’s an obligation to tell a minister that you’re going to try another Church.

Is there some reason that you feel particularly compelled to tell this minister? It sounds like you had some kind of friendship with him?

Either way, your choices about where you worship are yours. No need to tell people the why’s and wherefores. You go where it feels right:)

yes i have friendship with him through the fact he is a hospital chaplin and i see him to do with my mental health but as a friend he will tell me what he thinks

Ok, so if you want to share the information with him as a friend? That makes sense. But then, as a friend? He’s probably going to be okay with you making a decision about what you think is best for you, and potentially be really supportive:)
