Dear Froggie, we have special colostomy bags out here with different type of seal/ glue- I will try to find out the name of them on friday, most are not aware they exist (new within the last couple of years, and usually not offered).
Because I realize that once irritated/ if there is weeping (also), not only will the bag not adhere but it makes the ulcers worse (despite the cream, if they have prsecribed that).

Froggie, I didn't realise you have a colostoma now. My husband had to have one for some months after he had diverticulitis.

Are you doing okay? It's such a change in body image. And those bags and plates can be a real hassle. Are you able to change stuff yourself?

I hope your skin is getting better! I know I had to cut those base plates exactly to the millimeter and use lots of glue around the opening and stuff. It's crazy how aggressive excrement can be.
