Crafty Cath and her H came to visit me today. I hope they enjoyed it as much as I did. We talked the hind legs off at least 3 donkeys and laughed a lot.

We went around the local area and popped into a couple of shops. I have 2 dogs and was concerned because I knew Cath was nervous since being attacked and bitten as a child. However mine were on bestest behaviour and I think both Cath and her H were a little smitten as can be seen on the photo.

She also brought me a lovely new journal and pen, and a blue heart. I will take photos and post them tomorrow.

It is almost a year since we first took the plunge and met one another at Cheshire Oaks last year. I know it isn't easy leaving our comfort zones but I now have another true friends.

(((Cath & H)))

H and I had a wonderful day KP- thank's so much for having us! (She had to kick us out eventually!!!!):roflmao: KP bought me a beautiful bracelet which is such a pretty blue colour and I bought a few things in the craft shop (surprised you got me out of there KP! )

I have been terrified of dogs fo many years but KP's two are such sweeties (although Max is totally mad!:wacky:).

I think Max adopted my H or did my H adopt Max?!

I have another photo to post which I'll do tomorrow and also a couple of KP's area which I will post in the Photo's of Nature thread.

I so could have taken saffi home but I doubt she would have left her Mum. I was so proud of the way KP has trained them and of how much they obviously adore her - well who wouldn't!

Some of the forum friendships formed are amazing. Then to meet in person is just wonderful and if you hit it off (be comfortable in each other's presence) its like the icing on the cake. It also gives me some peace knowing that members are trying to break out of the debilitating limitations of PTSD.

Photos above are priceless motivation to others of what can be achieved. Well done all. :D

Dear girls it's wonderful that you have become good friends and get to meet now and then. It brings back memories from the fabulous time we all had when we met up in Birmingham.

Love the picture of Cath and hubby who is also a terrific guy. It warms my heart and brought a tear to my eye. Perhaps a little envious that I won't be able to do the same for a while.

KP your two dogs look adorable and it seems that they thoroughly enjoyed themselves as well, lavishing the attention they got from Cath and H.

Sending you warm wishes, take care my dear.

It is wonderful to meet friends from the forum. And that is the beauty of reaching out beyond the pages here, as you really get to know people. PTSD is never the focus as I think we have enough here, it is a different dimension.

It is funny how you meet people in life, and for those that want to step out of their comfort zone, it can be very rewarding. Just remember to use good judgement, take your time, and stay safe.
