Today the ladies did lunch. :D

Yes KP and I met up again and we had lunch together. It was wonderful meeting up with her again, and her daughter. She looked so well and cheerful, full of smiles and loads of hugs all round.

In the summer we are going to have a posh picnic in the Minster gardens or down by the river. Big floppy hats and all. :tup:

Yes, I find that meeting someone in person is so important. This is how we overcome our "I'm so different" and make connections. It fills the hole in my heart and I'm so happy for you!

We (Anthony and I) went and met a forum member, Shoka, and it was absolutely amazing as we (her and I) had become very close friends via the forum and meeting face to face just sealed the connection that miles could not separate but the internet created. Problem is now I miss her even more as she is not on the forum much. :(

There are a few other forum members I would more than love to meet in person (and I'm only not mentioning names so I don't accidentally miss someone and hurt their feelings unintentionally).

Also while in New York we met another forum member for coffee first and then decided to go to dinner. Great evening!

My next meeting maybe in Shrewsbury with a member who lives there. No names just yet, but watch this space. I'll also be organising a Birmingham (England) meeting in March - she/he who dares possibly makes even closer friends.
