I'm a divorced, 24 year old, mother of, the most beautiful ray of sunshine. She is the dawn that breaks through my midnight. I have been extremely stressed my whole life, so my immediate short term memory is almost gone. I am very wordy, I grew up in a family that explains to the point, of not just "beating a dead horse" they continue to whip once its buried. Because of this T.M.I. has a very different meaning in my family than most, ( if some one says T.M.I. it means shut up, "nicely").
I have 1 brother who is about 5 years older than me, he hates me. Seriously, he has said to my face that he hates me and thinks I'm stupid. He has gone so far as to , for lack of a better word, degrade me in front of, and directly to my daughter. The latest escapade was at Easter, my daughter said she was eating M&M's, I told her when you get to the last one its just an M. She laughed, my brother out of nowhere, from across the room said "Yeah didn't you know your mom used to work at an M&M factory", I said, what are you talking about? he said " Yeah she got fired for throwing out the 3's the E's and the W's". My whole family was there and they heard it. It's very common place for this to happen, when I talked to a relative she told me just ignore it and he will stop, he just wants a reaction. He's 30, this has been going on my whole life and they continue to ignore it. The definition of Insanity is doing the same action over and over and expecting different results. I think I have made my point.
My mother is a complete control freak and quite seriously gets mad when she find out she's wrong and especially if it means I'm right. My dad is a complete enabler, he will do just about anything to keep peace in the house. The rest of the family is convinced I can't make a good decision. More to come...
